My name is Michelle Sivco and I am an artist and teacher in New Jersey. I have always had an interest in painting and drawing and I have achieved my bachelors of fine arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

I love every step of the creative process, from start to finish. Each step is thought through with care and consideration. Art-making is completely immersive and meditative, prayerful.

Major influences on my work include simple living, prayer, icons, and religious art.

When I am not making paintings and drawing, I teach art at a Catholic elementary school.
