Welcome.

My name is Michelle Sivco and I am a visual artist and teacher. I have always had an interest in painting and drawing and I have achieved my bachelors in fine arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

I love every step of the creative process, from start to finish. Each step is thought through with care and consideration. For me, the making of a painting is completely immersive and meditative, even prayerful.

When I am not making paintings and drawing, I teach art at a Catholic elementary school. I also give private drawing lessons to students of any age who are serious about improving their skillset in this medium. Drawing is preliminary to painting and I believe that every artist must have a firm grasp of this medium. I am currently taking new clients for these lessons.
